Caesarea is a community settlement that was established next to ancient city of Caesarea. It is known to be one of the most prestigious settlements in Israel and most of the residents have a high income. All Caesarea real estate is constructed of Villas and Cottage houses.

Caesarea is the only settlement in Israel which is owned communally by the government and a private company, The Caesarea Edmond Benjamin de Rotchild Foundation, which was founded by the Baron de Rotchild. Caesarea is managed via the CEO and five board members, which run Caesarea as a financial business. Since Caesarea is not a municipality, the residents of Caesarea pay cervices fees and not municipal taxes. For those fees the company keeps the streets clean, keeps the gardening and maintains the high life style.

The settlement contains an elementary school, the Ralli Museum for Latin-American arts, Israel's first Golf club, the Dan Caesarea Hotel and is very close to the remains of the old city of Caesarea, built by Herod the Great which became a large archeology site that attracts visitors, tourists and travelers.
